McKinley Memorial Library

  • Located in the south wing (the portion of the Memorial to the left of the courtyard in the photo).
  • The McKinley Memorial Library is a public library.

National McKinley Birthplace Memorial Museum

  • Located in the north wing (the portion of the Memorial to the right of the courtyard in the photo).
  • The Museum is a separate organization from the library.
  • The Museum can be contacted at (330) 652-4273, or visited online at mckinleybirthplacemuseum.org.

National McKinley Birthplace Memorial

  • The Memorial includes the entire structure (Library, Courtyard, and Museum) shown in the photo.
  • This magnificent structure in Niles, Ohio was designed by noted architectural firm McKim, Mead and White.
  • The Court of Honor (or courtyard, the portion of the Memorial in the center of the photo) is supported by 28 imposing columns grouped around a heroic statue of William McKinley.
