Celebrate President McKinley's 183rd birthday and learn about the last president elected to serve in the Civil War at the McKinley Birthplace Home! The celebration will include games and light refreshments (while supplies last).
At 2:30 p.m., Belinda Weiss, historian and director of the National McKinley Birthplace Memorial Museum, will discuss President McKinley's service in the Ohio 23rd Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War and how this influenced his presidency.
The Birthplace Home will be open for self-guided tours from 2–4 p.m.
