Bigfoot Researcher Amy Bue Thursday, February 26, 6–7:30 p.m. at the McKinley Birthplace Home A writer and educator from Northeast Ohio, Amy Bue’s fascination with Bigfoot started in 2012, when she saw something she couldn’t explain. Although Amy’s private field research is concentrated in Pennsylvania’s Allegheny National Forest, and her work with the Olympic Project is based in Washington State, she crosses the country speaking and researching in areas of high interest while following up on witness reports and looking for evidence of Bigfoot’s existence. The Birthplace Home will be open for self-guided tours from 1–4:30 p.m. William McKinley’s 183rd Birthday Celebration Saturday, January 24, 2–4 p.m. at the McKinley Birthplace Home Celebrate President McKinley's 183rd birthday and learn about the last president elected to serve in the Civil War at the McKinley Birthplace Home! The celebration will include games and light refreshments (while supplies last). At 2:30 p.m., Belinda Weiss, historian and director of the National McKinley Birthplace Memorial Museum, will discuss President McKinley's service in the Ohio 23rd Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War and how this influenced his presidency.
