Calling all Niles City School students who get out of school
 early on Friday, January 16th, 2009!

Don’t know what to do?
 Come to the McKinley Memorial Auditorium on January 16th at 2PM
 for our “Fun with Science” program!

Get your science juices flowing as we learn how to make flubber,
and conduct your own rocket launch!

Children in grades K-5 may take part in this hour long program.

 Registration is required by calling the Children’s Room at 330-652-1704, ext. 214.

Groundhog Day 2009
Groundhog Day 2009, January 31 at 1PM
McKinley Memorial Auditorium

Get “Hog” Wild in preparation for Groundhog Day 2009!
This program is geared towards children in first-fifth grades.

Participants will learn neat facts about these unique animals, as well as learn about the traditions of Groundhog Day through various activities during this one hour program.

Send Valentines to Local Seniors!
February 13th and 14th
McKinley Memorial Auditorium

All day on February 13th & until Noon on February 14th, send some loving to local seniors by making a personalized Valentine’s Day card in the Children’s Room.

The Children’s Room staff will then deliver all the valentines to local senior centers.

Supplies will be provided but you may also bring
some of your favorite items to decorate a card!

Kids Are Library Lovers Too!
February 28th at 1PM
McKinley Memorial Auditorium

Come celebrate the end of “Library Lovers Month”
with a special surprise  for children in first-fifth grades.

This forty-five minute program will demonstrate the many ways
you can love your library and how much we love kids!

Registration is requested by calling the Children’s Room at 330-652-1704, ext. 214,
but we cannot tell you anything else because then it would not be a surprise!

Get Your Green On!
March 14th at 1PM
McKinley Memorial Auditorium

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day early by attending this hour-long program.

Wear as much green you possibly can because it is Miss Stephanie’s favorite color,
 and she will certainly have a lot on!

From the Irish jig to reading classic Irish tales,
you may even look a little green until we’re through!
