Material Donations

The McKinley Memorial Library accepts donations of print and audiovisual materials for the
Friends of the Library Book Sales and possible additions to the library's collection.

Donated materials may or may not be added to the collection based on existing selection criteria and condition of the items. An item will not be added to the collection solely because it is a gift.
Once given, no donated materials can be returned to the donor.

Materials must be in boxes or bags and be delivered to the library by the donor during regular library hours. Please do not put donations in the book drop. Only clean materials in good condition will be accepted;
items that are damaged or dirty will be disposed of. The Library does not currently accept old encyclopedia sets or magazines.

Persons wishing to have verification of their donation for tax purposes are responsible for submitting
a Library Donation Information Slip (available at the Reference or Circulation Desks) or other written documentation indicating the type and number of items donated with their name and address.
